Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) outlines the standards of conduct required for all users on the Fanvue platform, whether they are Fans, Creators, or otherwise interact with the Platform. It governs what is and is not allowed on Fanvue, including but not limited to the uploading, posting, displaying, and sharing of content and other behaviour while using the Platform.

This Policy supplements the General Terms & Conditions and other applicable Fanvue Policies. If there is any conflict between this Policy and the General Terms, the terms of this Policy shall prevail for the specific subject matter it governs.

All defined terms used herein shall have the meaning assigned in the General Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated.


DEFINITIONS

Prohibited Content” means any Content that violates the rules set out in this Policy.


1. GENERAL USE

  1. You are not permitted to access or set up an account on Fanvue if you are under the age of 18. Attempts of under-age individuals to set up an account on Fanvue may risk a permanent ban from opening future accounts on the Platform.
  2. You are not permitted to access or set up an account on Fanvue if you have previous unspent convictions for a sexual offence, are on a sex offenders’ register or are subject to notification requirements or post-sentencing penalties or orders for commission of a sexual offence.
  3. All Users must only access Fanvue for lawful, personal purposes and in accordance with this Policy.
  4. Fanvue may suspend or terminate access for any breach of this Policy, as detailed in General Terms – Section 16 (Termination).

2. CONTENT RESTRICTIONS

1. GENERAL CONDUCT

  1. Do not upload, share, show or promote:
    1. Content that is illegal, fraudulent, misleading, or that encourages violence or criminal acts;
    2. Content featuring, involving, encouraging, or referencing exploitation or abuse of anyone under 18;
    3. Content that you do not own or have legal rights to distribute;
    4. Content which violates the Community Guidelines.

2. PRIVACY & PERSONAL DATA

  1. Do not share anyone else’s personal data without their explicit written consent, including, but not limited to:
    1. Names, identity documents, contact details, GPS/location data, bank information, or medical records.
    2. Personal Identifying Information (PII) (email, home address, Identity Document information).
    3. Data scraped from external sources or private databases.
    4. Private or personal chat messages.

3. CONTENT AUTHENTICITY & QUALITY

  1. Content shared on Fanvue must be:
    1. Authentically produced by the Creator or their approved collaborators under Co-Authored Content Policy.
    2. Accurate and not misleading or spam-like.
    3. Not artificially inflating engagement metrics or falsely depicting live interactions.
    4. Properly disclosed if generated using AI or synthetic tools, per Community Guidelines – AI-Generated Media.

4. OTHER RESTRICTIONS

  1. Do not give the impression that your content is endorsed by Fanvue or any other entity.
  2. Do not use other media or methods, such as codewords or signals, to communicate anything violating this Policy.
  3. Do not engage in any activity that causes or is calculated to cause inconvenience or anxiety to anyone else or is likely to upset, embarrass, or cause serious offence to others.
  4. Do not use the content to extract money or other benefits from anyone else in exchange for the removal of the content.
  5. Do not engage in third-party commercial activities (including advertising, sponsorships, or product placements) in violation of the Creator Advertising & Promotion Policy.

5. IDENTITY VERIFICATION & FACE COVERINGS

  1. Real Creators: Regulators require us to be able to identify every individual featured in content. This is a compliance and safety measure that supersedes all other considerations.

    1. Do not use any face covering, mask, or clothing that prevents us from verifying the identity of person(s) featured in content.
    2. This includes but is not limited to:
      • Medical or fashion masks
      • Face-covering veils (e.g., niqab, burqa)
      • Any garment or accessory that obscures facial features necessary for identity verification
    3. While we respect religious and cultural practices, safety and compliance on Fanvue come first. Creators must have their face visible for verification if they wish to be featured on the Platform.
  2. AI-Generated Content: Face coverings, masks, and cultural/religious attire are acceptable in AI-generated media provided:

    1. The content is clearly disclosed as AI-generated;
    2. It does not mislead users into believing it represents a real person;
    3. It remains compliant with all other content policies.
  3. Enforcement: Content featuring unverifiable individuals will be removed without notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination under General Terms - Section 16.

6. PUBLIC MEDIA STANDARDS

  1. Definition: Public Media includes profile pictures, banners, intro videos, and public bio text visible to users who have not signed in or subscribed.

  2. Public Media must be safe for a general audience (SFW) and must not include:

    1. Nudity, implied nudity, or strategic covering;
    2. See-through or revealing clothing that exposes nipples or genitals;
    3. Hyper-sexualised posing or porn-style framing;
    4. Explicit sexual language;
    5. Age-baiting language (e.g., “just turned 18”, “barely legal”, “teen”);
    6. AI-generated imagery without clear disclosure that the Content is AI-generated.
  3. Intro Videos are subject to the highest scrutiny and must:

    1. Feature only the Creator (no other individuals);
    2. Be non-sexual with no explicit performance;
    3. Avoid fetish outfits, props, or explicit language;
    4. Avoid close-up body-only framing designed to arouse.
  4. Consequence: Non-compliant Public Media will result in enforcement action:

    1. First offence: The profile will be disabled from appearing on the Discover section of the Platform until the non-compliant media is updated.
    2. Subsequent offences: The entire profile will become inaccessible from public view until the non-compliant media is updated.
    3. This does not delete your content, ban your account, or affect your earnings from existing subscribers.

3. Community Guidelines

  1. You must comply with any requirements set out in our Community Guidelines.

4. Referral System

  1. Do not abuse the referral system by self-referring or referring an account owned by the same individual.
  2. Further information, direction, and use of the referral system can be found in our Referral Policy.

5. Security and Technical Constraints

  1. Do not (or attempt to) circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with any security-related features of Fanvue.
  2. Do not use any ad-blocking software while browsing Fanvue.
  3. Do not send more request messages to Fanvue’s servers in a given period than a human can reasonably produce in the same period using a standard web browser.
  4. Do not introduce any viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other material that may be malicious or technologically harmful.
  5. Do not use Fanvue in a way that could adversely affect our systems or security or interfere with any other User’s use of Fanvue, including their ability to engage in real-time activities through Fanvue.
  6. Do not use any automated program, tool or process (such as web crawlers, robots, bots, spiders, and automated scripts) to access Fanvue or any server, network or system associated with Fanvue or to extract, scrape, collect, harvest or gather Content or information from Fanvue.
  7. Do not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to discover or derive the source code of Fanvue except where such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law.
  8. Do not knowingly introduce any viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material into content that may be malicious or technologically harmful.
  9. Do not knowingly seek or act on any exploit of Fanvue systems, processes, tools or Services.
  10. Do not use proxy servers, VPNs, or other anonymizing technologies to disguise your location for the purpose of engaging in payment abuse, referral fraud, or to bypass region-specific restrictions, safety measures, or compliance controls.

6. Intellectual Property and Other Rights

  1. Respect the intellectual property rights of Creators, including by not recording, reproducing, sharing, communicating to the public, or otherwise distributing their Content without authorization.
  2. Do not impersonate us, one of our employees, another User, or any other person or company or falsely state or suggest any affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship between you and us or any other person or company.
  3. Do not provide false account registration information or make unauthorized use of anyone else’s information or Content.
  4. Do not reproduce, print, distribute, attempt to download, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or transmit any Content, except as permitted under the Terms of Service.
  5. Do not use the Fanvue name, logo or any related or similar names, logos, product and service names, designs, or slogans other than in the limited ways which are expressly permitted in terms of Service or with our prior written agreement.
  6. Do not do anything that violates our or someone else’s rights, including intellectual property rights (examples of which are copyright, trademarks, confidential information, and goodwill), personality rights, unfair competition, privacy, and data protection rights.

7. Breach Consequences

  1. Fanvue reserves the right to:
    1. Suspend or terminate accounts for violating this Policy, as set out in General Terms – Section 16 (Termination).
    2. Remove some or all User Content from an Account where the Content breaches this Policy or any other Fanvue Policy, with or without suspending or terminating the underlying Account. This may include the bulk removal of media from Accounts containing a substantial volume of violating Content.
    3. Revoke Creator Balance or User Balance in part or in full, and may prevent withdrawals where there is a breach of these rules.
    4. Refer suspected criminal activity to law enforcement agencies.
    5. Permanently ban users from Fanvue or from creating further accounts on Fanvue.
  2. All violations may be reviewed under Fanvue’s Complaints & Appeals Policy, which includes processes for user-submitted reports and internal investigation timeframes.
