Co-Authored Content Policy

INTRODUCTION

Fanvue supports collaboration between creators and recognises that co-authored content plays a valuable role in showcasing creativity and shared expression. This Policy outlines the requirements and responsibilities for uploading and distributing content that features more than one person.

This Policy supplements the Creator Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and other Fanvue Policies. In the event of a conflict, the terms of this Policy shall take precedence for the specific subject matter it governs.

All defined terms used in this Policy have the meaning assigned in the General Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated.

1. WHAT IS CO-AUTHOURED CONTENT?

  1. Content is considered Co-Authored where:
    1. Two or more individuals have contributed creatively to its production; and/or
    2. Any person other than the uploading Creator is visually, audibly, or otherwise recognisably featured in the content.
  2. This applies regardless of whether the other individuals are Fanvue Creators or whether their identity is discernible.

2. REQUIREMENTS FOR CO-AUTHOURED CONTENT

  1. You must not upload Co-Authored Content unless:
    1. Every featured person is:
      • A Fanvue Creator; or
      • A verified consenting adult whose identity and age have been confirmed;
    2. You have obtained, and retain on file:
      • A valid government-issued ID for each person;
      • Signed, dated, and fully informed written consent to be recorded and published;
    3. You provide this documentation to Fanvue upon request.
  2. Fanvue provides template forms for obtaining valid consent:

  3. If a co-author holds a Creator account on Fanvue, you must:
    1. Tag their account using the platform tagging feature;
    2. Not misrepresent or obscure their involvement.
  4. You are solely responsible for:
    1. Obtaining all rights and permissions required to upload the Co-Authored Content;
    2. Ensuring that any joint authorship or copyright ownership is resolved between you and other contributors;
    3. Complying with any applicable laws related to image rights, publicity rights, or likeness.

3. EARNINGS, SHARING & LIABILITY

  1. Fanvue will credit earnings only to the account that uploads the Co-Authored Content.
  2. Any revenue split or sharing agreement between creators is:
    1. A private arrangement between those parties;
    2. Not the responsibility of Fanvue to manage, enforce, or verify.
  3. You acknowledge that:
    1. You are not entitled to any share of Creator Earnings if you appear in content uploaded by another Creator;
    2. Fanvue disclaims all liability relating to unpaid or disputed revenue splits between co-authors.
  4. Fanvue may require you to submit identity and consent documentation for all individuals in your content at any time.
  5. If you fail to comply, we may:
    1. Remove the relevant Co-Authored Content;
    2. Withhold or reverse earnings;
    3. Restrict your account’s publishing capabilities;
    4. Terminate your account in accordance with the General Terms – Section 16 (Termination).
  6. You agree to release Fanvue from any and all claims, disputes, or liabilities arising from Co-Authored Content.
  7. Any legal action or dispute must be directed towards the Creator who posted the content or the person(s) featured, not Fanvue.
