Creator Advertising & Promotion Policy

This Policy sets out the rules that govern how Creative Users may promote their Fanvue profiles and engage in third-party advertising or sponsored content. It applies to both on-platform activities (i.e. content published on Fanvue) and off-platform promotional efforts.

This Policy supplements the General Terms & Conditions, Creator Terms of Service, and other applicable Fanvue Policies. In the event of any conflict, the terms of this Policy shall prevail for the specific subject matter it governs.

All defined terms used herein shall have the meaning assigned in the General Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated.


DEFINITIONS

“Third-Party Promotion” means any endorsement, sponsorship, or advertising of a product, service, or brand that is not owned by the Creative User or Fanvue.

“External Promotion” means any content, post, or media published outside the Fanvue platform that links to or advertises a Fanvue profile.

“Sponsored Content” means any content on Fanvue for which the Creator receives compensation or value from a third party in exchange for promotion.


1. PROMOTING YOUR FANVUE PROFILE

1.1 Permitted Promotion Channels

  1. Creators may promote their Fanvue profile on:
    1. Social media platforms;
    2. Personal websites and blogs;
    3. Email newsletters;
    4. Search engines and paid traffic platforms (subject to their terms).

1.2 Requirements

  1. All external promotion must:
    1. Clearly represent Fanvue and the Creator’s content truthfully;
    2. Comply with the rules of the external platform being used;
    3. Avoid impersonation of Fanvue or other Creators.
  2. Creators must not:
    1. Engage in spam, deceptive traffic generation, or impersonation;
    2. Mislead fans about the nature of the content available.

2. THIRD-PARTY PROMOTIONS ON FANVUE

2.1 Sponsored and Affiliate Content

  1. Creators may publish third-party promotional content on Fanvue, provided that:
    1. The product or service being promoted is legal and not prohibited under Fanvue policies;
    2. There is clear and conspicuous disclosure of any paid or sponsored relationships (e.g. #ad, sponsored, or partnership label);
    3. Promotions do not involve or encourage prohibited behaviour under the Acceptable Use Policy.
  2. Creators may not:
    1. Promote gambling, prescription drugs, tobacco, unregulated financial services, or illegal products;
    2. Use Fanvue to conduct business on behalf of third parties or advertisers without permission;
    3. Use Fanvue to Host giveaways or competitions on behalf of third parties or advertisers without prior written approval from Fanvue.

3. COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY RESTRICTIONS

  1. The following activities are prohibited unless expressly authorised in writing by Fanvue:
    1. Paid contests, giveaways, or sweepstakes conducted through Fanvue;
    2. Product placements or third-party endorsements not clearly disclosed;
    3. Recruitment advertisements, job listings, or business-for-hire content.
  2. These restrictions are intended to:
    1. Protect users from misleading commercial practices;
    2. Preserve platform integrity and prevent Fanvue from being used as a conduit for unauthorised advertising activity.

4. ENFORCEMENT AND CONSEQUENCES

  1. Fanvue may take enforcement action in the event of violations of this Policy, including:
    1. Content removal;
    2. Temporary or permanent suspension of Creator accounts;
    3. Deductions from Creative User Balance where appropriate under the Content Moderation & Protection Policy.
  2. Serious or repeat violations may result in termination of the Creator’s account in accordance with General Terms – Section 16.

5. REPORTING MISUSE

  1. Users may report suspected advertising violations or inappropriate third-party promotions via:
    1. support@fanvue.com
    2. Help Centre
    3. Live support from the Fanvue moderation team
