Community Guidelines

Fanvue is a Platform for those aged 18 or over. Fanvue strives to be a platform that fosters creativity, respect, and safety. These Community Guidelines outline the standards of conduct that all Users must observe, whether they are Fans, Creators, or otherwise interact with the Platform or any of its Services. They aim to ensure open expression and content diversity while upholding legal and ethical obligations. These Guidelines set out the standards of conduct expected from all Users when using any Service provided through the Platform. These rules apply to using any Service offered on or via the Platform. They may also extend to off-platform activity (such as activity on other social media platforms or websites) by Users relating to unlawful conduct and/or serious breaches of the Guidelines. By using the Platform, you are agreeing and undertaking to respect both the letter and spirit of these rules. Any breach of these Guidelines may result in enforcement action against the relevant user account, including warnings and account restrictions. These Guidelines govern what is and is not allowed on Fanvue, including but not limited to the uploading, posting, displaying, and sharing of content and other behaviour while using the Platform.

These Guidelines supplement the General Terms & Conditions and are included by reference within them. Users should also consult other Fanvue Policies to ensure they fully understand how to follow our platform rules.

All defined terms used within these Guidelines shall have the meaning assigned in the General Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated.

DEFINITIONS

  • “Explicit Content” means any content that is intimate, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate for Users under the age of 18.
  • “Intimate” means any content featuring full or partial nudity (i.e. exposure of nipples, breasts, buttocks or genitalia), includes people (whether real or synthetic) wearing only lingerie, underwear or see-through clothing, or depicts a sexual act, or depicts an individual urinating or defecating.
  • “AI-Generated Media” includes any media generated using artificial intelligence, such as deepfakes, faceswaps, or synthetic audio, video, and imagery.
  • “User Content” includes any content uploaded to Fanvue by Users, including text, image, video and audio content.
  • “Violent content” means any content which includes graphic violence or gore, or which incites or threatens violence towards others.

A. GENERAL CONTENT STANDARDS

  1. Users must only upload content that they have the legal right to post, either as the rights-holder or under a valid licence.
  2. User Content must not:
    1. Infringe any third party’s Intellectual Property Rights;
    2. Violate the laws of the User’s jurisdiction or the jurisdiction from which the Platform is accessed;
    3. Incite or promote unlawful activity; or
    4. Repost content previously removed for violating these Guidelines.
  3. Fanvue may remove any User Content that breaches these Guidelines without prior warning.
  4. Prohibited Content in these Guidelines includes instances of Users linking or hyperlinking to other platforms or websites featuring a type of prohibited content.
  5. Users are expected to follow the local laws of the country in which they are located and/or domiciled. In the event their country’s local laws conflict with the provisions in these Guidelines, these Guidelines will prevail and we will moderate the content in accordance with these Guidelines.
  6. For violations of these Guidelines which amount to criminal offences, or which we believe may threaten the safety of a User, Fanvue may report Users to law enforcement.

B. GENERAL USE

  1. Users must not:
    1. Sell, rent, share or transfer their account, or content obtained via Fanvue, with anyone else;
    2. Attempt to bypass any security or access restrictions on the Platform;
    3. Misrepresent themselves, impersonate others, or mislead Users;
    4. Engage in disruptive behaviours or Platform abuse like ‘flaming’, ‘spamming’, ‘flooding’, ‘trolling’, and ‘griefing’, as understood by common internet terminology;
    5. Use Fanvue for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorised purposes;
    6. Use Fanvue in a way to post any Prohibited Content as defined in these Guidelines.
  2. Users under the age of 18, or those required to register as sex offenders or subject to notification requirements under sexual offence legislation, are prohibited from using the Platform.
  3. Users should not download any content from Fanvue unless a ‘download’ button is explicitly displayed next to that Content and it is an intended use of the Platform.
  4. Content should not include any other individual unless you have obtained written documentation which confirms that all individuals shown or included or referred to in your Content are at least 18 years old, and you have verifiable consent from each individual to use their name or images (or both) in the Content, as referenced in our Co-Authored Content Policy.

C. PROHIBITED CONTENT

1. TERRORISM AND VIOLENT EXTREMISM

  1. Content that promotes, glorifies, or seeks to recruit individuals to terrorist or extremist ideologies or actions is strictly prohibited.
  2. There is no exception to this rule.

2. HARASSMENT, STALKING, THREATS, AND ABUSE

  1. Users must communicate respectfully and must not behave in a way that harasses, threatens or abuses another User or other Users.
  2. The following are strictly prohibited:
    1. Encouragement of or expressions wishing for violence or harm against any group or individual(s);
    2. Use of the Platform to repeatedly target a specific individual or individuals in order to threaten or abuse that individual or individual(s);
    3. Trolling;
    4. Using the Platform to gain personal information about another User in order to stalk them offline or on other platforms.
  3. Fanvue enforces a zero-tolerance policy on abusive behaviour. Violations will result in content removal as a minimum response, and may also lead to suspension or permanent account termination.

3. COERCIVE AND CONTROLLING BEHAVIOUR

  1. Users are prohibited from using the Platform in a way which constitutes controlling and coercive behaviour (CCB) towards a partner/ex-partner, a family member or an individual with whom they reside.
  2. Users are also prohibited from using the Platform to support off-line offending relating to CCB. Examples of this include:
    1. Seeking to infiltrate another User’s account;
    2. Gaining control over another User’s account;
    3. Online stalking;
    4. Exerting pressure on a User to post content without their consent and free from threats.

4. HATE AND DISCRIMINATION

  1. Users must not discriminate against, or promote hate toward any group based on protected characteristics.
  2. The following are prohibited:
    1. Slurs intended to degrade or dehumanise;
    2. Content promoting segregation or exclusion based on a protected characteristic; and
    3. Stirring up of hatred on the basis of religion, sexual orientation or any other protected characteristic.
  3. Fanvue enforces a zero-tolerance policy on hate speech. Violations will result in content removal and may lead to suspension or permanent account termination.

5. NON-CONSENSUAL OR UNWANTED SEXUAL CONTENT (INCLUDING INTIMATE IMAGE ABUSE)

  1. Any User Content featuring an individual or individuals posted without the individual(s)’ explicit consent is strictly forbidden.
  2. This includes:
    1. Intimate media captured without the subject’s awareness;
    2. Sharing intimate content with Users who have not opted in to receive it (e.g., subscribers or Users who have not clearly indicated their willingness to receive such content, for example through explicit consent in messages). This includes instances of ‘cyberflashing’;
    3. Sharing intimate content without consent of the subject (non-consensually distributed intimate images or video).
  3. Unsolicited explicit content constitutes a violation of these Guidelines and will result in enforcement action.
  4. Individuals depicted in non-consensual intimate content published on the Platform may request its removal under our NCII Takedown Policy.

6. EXTREME PORNOGRAPHY AND NON-PERMITTED ADULT CONTENT

  1. Intimate content, provided it does not depict any of the activities banned within these Guidelines, is permitted but must be clearly marked as 18+ Content.
  2. Users must not:
    1. Provide Intimate content to Users who are, or appear to be, under the age of 18;
    2. Upload content involving any person under 18 (including the User themselves), whether the persons be a featured or background character;
    3. Fail to retain age verification documentation (see USC 2257); or
    4. Upload Intimate content without the consent of any individual who features in it.
  3. Content must not feature any of the following (this list is non-exhaustive):
    1. Bestiality;
    2. Choking, strangulation or asphyxiation;
    3. Sadomasochistic abuse;
    4. Hardcore bondage;
    5. Genital mutilation;
    6. Necrophilia;
    7. Age-play, i.e. where an individual pretends to be under the age of 18;
    8. An individual sleeping, unconscious or pretending to be asleep or unconscious;
    9. Rape, including where participants role-play or simulate rape, sexual assault or scenarios involving an absence of consent;
    10. Bodily fluids, including urination, defecation and vomit;
    11. Sexual activity involving violence or threats of harm, or where an individual is at risk of physical harm;
    12. Bloodplay;
    13. Sexual activity glorifying discrimination or degradation based on a protected characteristic.
  4. Users must not upload, post, or share content that either:
    1. In the case of Content featuring public nudity, was recorded in or is being broadcast from a country, State or province where public nudity is illegal; or
    2. In the case of Content featuring sexual activities, was recorded in or is being broadcast from a public place where members of the public are reasonably likely to see the activities being performed (this does not include outdoor places where members of the public are not present, for example, private property such as a private backyard, or secluded areas in nature where members of the public are not present).

7. EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN

  1. Fanvue enforces a zero-tolerance policy relating to the abuse or exploitation of a child or children on our platform, or evidence of a User abusing or exploiting a child or children (“minors”) off-platform. Evidence of this will be met with a permanent account suspension and a report to law enforcement.
  2. Users are prohibited from creating, sharing or promoting content which harms, exploits or depicts predatory behaviours towards minors. This includes:
    1. Content which sexualises minors or depicts minors, or minor-aged characters in intimate contexts (including real or synthetic/AI-generated content);
    2. Grooming behaviour;
    3. Uploading child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
    4. Sharing personal information about minors, including personal details, or location data that could pose safety risks;
    5. Glorifying, glamorising, encouraging or inciting violence, harm or abuse, whether sexual or otherwise, of minors.

8. SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF ADULTS

  1. We do not permit content which shows, promotes or encourages violence against or exploitation of adults. This includes:
    1. Encouraging adults to engage in prostitution;
    2. Solicitation;
    3. Making an adult monetise sexual or intimate content against their will.

9. UNLAWFUL IMMIGRATION AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

  1. Users must not offer, solicit, arrange, promote, facilitate or engage in human trafficking, exploitation, abuse, violence, brutality, rape or non-consensual sexual behaviour.
  2. Users are prohibited from coordinating, promoting or recruiting for human trafficking networks.
  3. Users are prohibited from using the Platform to assist in the commission of any offence relating to unlawful immigration, modern slavery or human trafficking.
  4. If there is any evidence of Users using the Platform to traffic individuals or assist in offences relating to unlawful immigration, they will be subject to enforcement action. Fanvue also reserves the right to report Users suspected to be involved with offences relating to unlawful immigration, modern slavery or human trafficking to law enforcement.

10. PRIVACY AND IMPERSONATION

  1. Users must not publish personal or private information about others without their explicit consent.
  2. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Real names;
    • Addresses;
    • Workplace information;
    • Contact information.
  3. This includes attempts to “dox” other Users or reveal identifying metadata embedded in shared files.
  4. Users must not impersonate other individuals, including public figures or other Fanvue Users.
  5. Parody or satire is allowed only if clearly labelled and easily recognisable by the intended audience.
  6. Parody Content or User Accounts must not be misleading or falsely imply affiliation with or endorsement by the impersonated individual.

11. FRAUD AND FINANCIAL OFFENCES

  1. Users must not create, share, or promote financial scams or phishing attempts.
  2. Users must not use the Platform to assist in the commission of any offence relating to fraud or financial crime. This includes using the Platform to launder proceeds of crime committed off-platform.

12. ENCOURAGING SUICIDE OR SELF-HARM

  1. Users must not use the Fanvue platform to encourage, incite, glorify or make light of suicide or self-harm.

13. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES AND WEAPONS

  1. Users must not upload, share or promote content which features or depicts weapons or controlled substances.

14. MISINFORMATION, DISINFORMATION AND FOREIGN INTERFERENCE

  1. Users must not share false or misleading information that could cause real-world harm.
  2. Users must not use the Fanvue platform to attempt to interfere with democratic processes.
  3. Users must not share false information about voting processes or vote counts or attempt to mislead followers about elections.

15. ANIMAL SAFETY

  1. Users must not upload, post, share or promote content that features unnecessary suffering to an animal or risks animal safety. This includes animal cruelty offences and actual or simulated violence against animals.

16. OTHER PROHIBITED CONTENT

  1. Users must not post, upload, share or promote content which depicts, encourages or glorifies disordered eating, extreme dieting or unsafe food practices.

D. AI-GENERATED MEDIA

  1. Users may post AI-generated content on the Platform subject to the following conditions:
    1. Disclosure: All AI-generated media must include a clear and prominent disclosure (e.g., watermark, caption, accompanying message or bio statement).
    2. No Harm or Deception: Content must not be misleading, harmful, or used to impersonate real individuals other than the account owner.
    3. Age Restrictions:
      1. AI-generated individuals must not resemble minors;
      2. Prompt text or disclaimers are not sufficient to overcome visual resemblance to individuals under 18.
    4. Moderation: AI-generated media is subject to Fanvue’s “Reasonable Person’s Test,” assessed by the moderation team.
    5. Consent and Rights: Deepfaked or AI-replicated media must not be published without the documented consent and identity verification of the original individual depicted.
    6. Face Coverings: Face coverings, masks, and cultural/religious attire are acceptable in AI-generated media provided the content does not mislead users into believing it represents a real person and remains compliant with all other content policies. (For real creator requirements, see Acceptable Use Policy - Section 2.5).
  2. Failure to comply with the above may result in:
    1. Content removal;
    2. Temporary suspension; or
    3. Permanent ban, depending on the severity of the breach.

E. USER BEHAVIOUR REQUIREMENTS

  1. As a condition of using the Platform, Users agree:
    1. Not to hack, manipulate, exploit, or otherwise tamper with the Platform or introduce malicious software;
    2. Not to use Fanvue for unlawful commercial purposes, including illegal drug or weapon promotion;
    3. Not to infringe upon the Intellectual Property or privacy rights of others.
  2. Fanvue actively monitors and enforces these standards through technical tools and manual review.
  3. Fanvue reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts at its sole discretion in cases where conduct may not be explicitly listed but is deemed harmful to the community.

F. PUBLIC PROFILE & DISCOVERY GUIDELINES

  1. Your profile picture, banner, and intro video may appear on Fanvue’s public discovery pages before someone subscribes. Because these areas are publicly visible, they must be safe for a general audience (SFW).

  2. Public Media must not include:

    1. Any nudity or implied nudity (including strategic covering);
    2. See-through lingerie or outfits that reveal nipples or genitals;
    3. Explicit sexual posing or porn-style closeups;
    4. Sexual content involving toys, explicit gestures, or explicit roleplay;
    5. Content that hints at underage themes (e.g., “just turned 18”, “barely legal”);
    6. Misleading imagery (e.g., if you use AI-generated images, you must disclose this clearly per Section D).

  3. Intro Videos must:

    1. Feature only you;
    2. Be non-sexual with no explicit performance;
    3. Avoid explicit language in the first few seconds;
    4. Avoid fetish outfits or props.

  4. What’s Allowed: You may include swimwear, lingerie, or boudoir-style content in Public Media as long as it is opaque (not see-through), not posed explicitly, and looks suitable for mainstream social media.

  5. Consequence: Non-compliant Public Media will result in enforcement action:

    1. First offence: The profile will be disabled from appearing on the Discover section of the Platform until the non-compliant media is updated.
    2. Subsequent offences: The entire profile will become inaccessible from public view until the non-compliant media is updated.
    3. This does not delete your content, ban your account, or affect your earnings from existing subscribers.
