New Checkout Links Policies Added
We’ve launched Checkout Links: secure, Fanvue-hosted checkout pages that let approved sellers offer digital products and services through a shareable link. To support this, we’ve added a dedicated set of policies under the new Checkout Links tab, so both buyers and sellers know exactly how purchases work, who is responsible for what, and what can be sold.
What’s Included?
- Buyer Terms: Explains who you are buying from, how the charge appears on your statement, how payments and subscriptions work, and how refunds, withdrawal rights, and payment disputes are handled.
- Seller Terms: Sets out how sellers are onboarded and verified, what must be disclosed on every listing, fulfilment and buyer support responsibilities, fees and payouts, and the standards sellers must meet to keep selling.
- Prohibited & Restricted Products Policy: Lists what can never be sold through Checkout Links and which categories need prior approval, keeping the checkout experience safe and trustworthy for everyone.
Related Policy Updates
To support Checkout Links, we’ve also updated our existing policies:
- General Terms – Section 3 (Paid for Services) now confirms that purchases made through Checkout Links are governed by the Checkout Links Buyer Terms.
- General Terms – Section 7 (Creators) now permits sales through Checkout Links in accordance with the Checkout Links Seller Terms.
- The Privacy Policy has a new Checkout Links section explaining how buyer and seller data is handled, including the account created at guest checkout and the information shared with sellers to deliver purchases.
- The Cookie Policy now explains how cookies recognise your existing account on Fanvue-hosted checkout pages to make checkout faster.
Where to Find Them
All three policies live under the new Checkout Links tab, starting from the Checkout Links Policy Hub.
