The Standard Contract Between Fan and Creator has been comprehensively updated to reflect Fanvue’s regulatory position and clarify the legal structure underpinning all Fan transactions.
What’s new?
- Rewritten to clarify that Fanvue is not an EMI or Payment Institution and does not process payments on behalf of Creators.
- Fans pay Fanvue for a view-only licence, granted via Fanvue under a distribution licence from the Creator.
- Strengthened definitions to align with legal and licensing terminology used across all Fanvue documentation.
- Improved guidance on licence expiry conditions, Fan/Creator obligations, and jurisdictional clarity for disputes.
- Added links to Creator Earnings & Payout Policy and General Terms – Section 4 (Licence) for integrated cross-referencing.

- Rewritten in formal legal style with standardised structured formatting.
- Clearly redefined prohibited behaviours including hate speech, harassment, impersonation, and unlawful activity.
- Improved detailed AI-generated content rules, including deepfake disclosure, moderation standards, and consent requirements.
- Clarified rules on explicit content, privacy violations, and platform misuse.
