Brazil PIX Payment Terms
We’ve added a new policy covering payments made from Brazil using PIX, setting out who processes your payment, what Fanvue is responsible for, and what rights you have in relation to a PIX payment. It is published in English and in Portuguese.
What’s changed?
Brazil - PIX Payment Terms
- New policy explaining that PIX payments in Reais are received and processed by a regulated international payments facilitator (eFX provider), not by Fanvue, and what that provider is responsible for.
- Confirmed that Fanvue is the supplier of the Paid-for Services, while the eFX provider is responsible for the currency conversion and the international transfer only.
- Set out that the amount shown in Reais at checkout is final, and that the conversion rate applied is the rate on the date of the relevant event.
- Explained that Reais must be paid from an account held in your own name, and that payments made by a third party on your behalf are not accepted.
- Described the Mecanismo Especial de Devolução (MED), how to ask your own payment institution to open it, and what it does and does not cover.
- Added a Portuguese version at Brasil - Termos de Pagamento via PIX.
General Terms & Conditions
- Added Section 3.19 pointing to the new Brazil PIX Payment Terms and confirming that they prevail for PIX payments made from Brazil.

If you pay by PIX, you can now see in one place who is handling your money, what the amount in Reais covers, and what to do if something goes wrong. The Portuguese version means those answers are available in your own language before you pay.
